In 2011, I launched the Black Men on the Couch project, aimed at fostering self-reflection and personal growth among UK-based black and minority ethnic men, featuring public events with meaningful conversations.
In my capacity as a service lead for adolescent counselling at the North East London (NHS) Foundation Trust, I managed a team addressing a wide range of issues, fostering empathy and understanding. I have also worked as an independent facilitator, trainer, and advisor on various transformational leadership programs, both in the UK and internationally.
My academic contributions include serving as Director of Student Welfare & Support Services at the University of Oxford, and holding leadership roles in student welfare at the University of Surrey, the University of the Arts, and the University of Greenwich. These positions have given me a profound understanding of student challenges and best support practices.
I am deeply committed to offering tailored services to individuals and groups, specializing in Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) consultation for organizations.
My role as a mentor in guiding personal and professional development has been a significant aspect of my career, sharing my expertise through panels and workshops to advance the field of counselling and psychotherapy.
I'm also the proud author of
"This Book Could Help: The Men's Headspace Manual," a work that reflects my commitment to mental well-being and my innovative approach to therapy.
